Sophia Krans
Graduate Student
Sophia Krans (Fall 2025 – Present) received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Bard College in 2025. While at Bard, she worked under the supervision of Dr. Jessica Robbins and Dr. David Myers on the synthesis and biological applications of crown ethers. As part of the New Synthetic Methods group, her research focuses on building efficient, well-controlled chemical systems and understanding structure–reactivity relationships. In her free time, she enjoys crafting and listening to music.
